Our track record includes advisory and consultative work with the World Bank-IFC, the EBRD, the Swiss Ministry of Economic Affairs (SECO), the OECD, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and the EU Commission. Our senior advisors have testified on governance related issues for the UK Parliament’s Commission on Banking Regulation and the UK Competition Commission.
Nestor Advisors advised Sir David Walker in his 2010 review of corporate governance of UK banks in the wake of the financial crisis. We were the lead consultant to the Hellenic Federation of Industries in the development of the 2011 Hellenic Code on Corporate Governance, to the Bucharest Stock Exchange on the new Romanian corporate governance code and to the Russian Central Bank in its review of its corporate governance code. Among others, we have worked with the Bank of Slovenia, the UAE Central Bank and the Egyptian Central Bank on matters of bank governance.
The firm’s international experience permits us to conduct comparative analysis across jurisdictions. Our research and views are often quoted in the context of the global corporate governance policy debate.
