Review of DFI governance organisation and internal policies: Nestor Advisors has evaluated the corporate governance action plan and the organisational fitness of the corporate governance division of several DFIs. We have developed templates for the evaluation of portfolio financial institutions and the assessment of country governance frameworks for leading multilaterals.
- Pre- or post- investment corporate governance assessments:
- Development of governance codes and policies: We have taken important advisory assignments in the development and implementation of the Hellenic, Romanian and Russian Corporate Governance Codes and have assisted several Central Banks in the development of their rule book as regards corporate governance of banks. The majority of these assignments were funded by DFIs. The firm has been an active commentator on the development of important CG policies by the OECD, the Walker Review and the Parliamentary Commission on Banking in the UK, the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision and the EU Commission.
